With Instagram and Facebook down for most of the day on Monday, City Girls’ JT took to Twitter to air her grievances surrounding those who hate on influencers reliant on the platforms to make a living.

“Every time Instagram shut down mf’s turn into preachers about being real hustlers & how if it wasn’t for IG ppl wouldn’t be far,” JT tweeted. “I wish nothing but prosperity on ppl if being pretty, popular & creative getting you paid & ppl gravitate to you...that’s great.”

The well-intentioned remark didn’t sit well with one user, who inspired a clapback from JT after they wrote, “all y’all saying anything fucking thing right now like stfu and tweet damn.”

“Hoe or else?” JT wrote back. “Don’t fucking play I hate a raggidy bitch who think they be on bully time take yo own advice! Why you hate keeping tweets YOU stfu & tweet...howe.”

JT has recently done a lot of responding to trolls on social media. The City Girls MC, who reportedly has been dating Lil Uzi Vert since 2019, was forced to quell pregnancy rumors after a video of her inspired a flurry of questions. “Bitch can’t even use emojis no more,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “I let y’all rock cause on some serious shit if I was pregnant what y’all gone do? Nothing! As a women half y’all hoes need to go educate y’all self.”

The rumors started after JT was seen wearing a wristband that helps with nausea. “Nausea not only caused by pregnancy,” she added. “& the way I control my nausea shouldn’t be y’all business.” She added in a separate video that she was not pregnant and “shouldn't have to tell a bunch of strangers” she’s not hiding anything. She concluded by simply asking speculators to “leave me the hell alone!”
