Chlöe Bailey has released her long-awaited debut album In Pieces, and to coincide with its release she’s dropped the video for “Cheatback” featuring Future.
The video for the track stars Bailey—who recently appeared in the Prime Video series Swarm—alongside both Joey Badass and Future, who appears on the track with a verse. Reflecting the lyrics of the track, the video is all about getting revenge on your significant other after they cheated on you.
The “Cheatback” video arrives in tandem with Bailey’s debut full-length project In Pieces, which also features appearances from Chris Brown and Missy Elliott. Her album comes as she’s set to have her biggest year yet, as both a musician and an actress. She’s set to make appearances in at least two feature films this year with The Georgetown Project and Praise This, while she’s also working on at least three other major motion pictures.
Bailey’s appearance in Swarm has faced criticism due to the explicit nature of one of her sex scenes. Her Grown-ish co-star Trevor Jackson has defended Bailey, noting that it’s a mature TV show and she’s free to do whatever she wants. “I haven’t seen it yet, but it’s art, and I support Chlöe in any- and everything that she does,” Jackson said. “She’s an amazing person, and she’s an artist, and she can do whatever she wants, whatever she feels led to do. It’s her life, and she’ll always have my support every time.”
