Cardi B and Offset are officially parents of a baby boy. Cardi took to Instagram Monday to reveal the birth of their second child, who a rep for Cardi revealed is a boy, sharing the exciting news alongside the caption “9/4/21.” The now-mother-of-two also threw in the emojis for a dinosaur, blue heart, and teddy bear next to a photo of her and the Migos rapper sitting in a hospital bed with their youngest baby, as they stare at him wrapped in a blue blanket.
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son. He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings,” the pair said in a statement after the child was born at a New York hospital.
Congrats have already begun to pour in front Yung Miami, Victoria Monét, JT, Rubi Rose, Chance the Rapper, and more.
“Congratulations many blessing to y’all,” JT wrote in a blue-heart-filled Instagram comment.
Cardi announced her pregnancy back in June, with both an Instagram photo showing off her baby bump and a performance at the 2021 BET Awards, where Cardi joined Migos for their Culture III track “Type Shit” and gave fans a look at the bump in action.
The latest addition to Cardi and Offset’s family follows the birth of Kulture, 3, on July 10, 2018. In addition to his kids with Cardi, Offset has three other children.
