Erykah Badu, Janelle Monáe, Miguel, Tyler, the Creator, the Internet, and more are set to perform at the annual Afropunk Festival this year in Brooklyn from Aug 25-26.

Almost the entire Smith family will be taking the stage separately (and hopefully together at least once) as Willow Smith, Jaden Smith, and the Jada Pinkett-Smith–fronted rock band Wicked Wisdom will all have their own time slots. (We're sure Will Smith and his drone will be nearby to capture the moment for Instagram as well.)

Other performers include Twin Shadow, Ibeyi, H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, the Zoë Kravitz–fronted Lolawolf, Trash Talk, the Fever 333, Lionbabe, Denzel Curry, Smino, Jamila Woods, Jessie Reyez, and Yuna, among others. More acts are set to be announced, as well as a "special guest."

But Brooklyn won't be having all the fun. Afropunk has launched festivals in cities like Atlanta, Paris, Johannesburg, and London. From Oct. 13-14, ATL is also slated to have a star-studded lineup with N.E.R.D., Wicked Wisdom, the Internet, Noname, Little Simz, and more to take the stage. Damian Marley, D'Angelo, Goldlink and others have been announced for the Paris festival, while fans are still waiting to hear the Johannesburg and London lineups.

Afropunk is known for its roots in advocacy and inclusivity, so it's no surprise its artists reflect that. Unlike other festivals, which have been called out for their dude-heavy lineups, Afropunk's performers show better gender representation.

Afropunk Brooklyn festival is set to take over Fort Greene's Commodore Barry Park on Aug 25-26. It's inaugural Atlanta event, also dubbed Carnival of Consciousness, will happen on Oct 13-14. Festivalgoers can also participate in Afropunk Army, a volunteer program where you can exchange eight hours of service for one general admission ticket. The program will launch in the spring. Tickets to the annual Brooklyn festival can also be found here, while ATL can be purchased here. Prices range from $50-$245.
