Ty Dolla Sign Is Ready for a Kanye Collab Album

Before Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign get in the studio together, we need a sequel to "Drop That Kitty" with Charli XCX.

I honestly still think about the pop mastery of "Drop That Kitty" every single day. Like all Ty Dolla Sign-featuring cuts, the Charli XCX x Tinashe collab is an exercise in vocal soundscapes. The dude is unmatched.

Naturally, Kanye West—who previously worked with Ty on The Life of Pablo—enlisted the Beach House trilogy mastermind for his latest album Ye. And that's not all. In a recent interview, West was asked about the possibility of rolling out a full-length collaborative project. "Oh, man," West said. "It's so crazy. That's one of the best combinations ever . . . I'm just trying to go week after week after week and just improve on the craft. Ty is one of the strongest artists that we have living and anything I can do to support, get around, produce, take my hands, chop up, everything! I'm with it."

Ty is clearly ready for this to come to fruition. Sunday, he reposted the interview clip to his Instagram with a simple but telling caption:

Last month, Ty gave us the deluxe version of Beach House 3. The updated take on Ty's 2017 album adds six new tracks featuring French Montana, Yo Gotti, and Wiz Khalifa.

In a recent Faderfeature, Ty was accurately described as the "hardest-working man in music," a distinction at least partially earned due to the aforementioned mastery of "Drop That Kitty." Say, Ty, when can we get a "Drop That Kitty" Pt. 2?
