Smooky MarGielaa has responded to allegations of rape, calling them "false."

Monday, in a report from El Español cited by HotNewHipHop, Smooky was named as being part of an investigation into an alleged rape of a 17-year-old concertgoer at a recent show in Barcelona. The report alleged that the 17-year-old girl joined Smooky backstage, when six men entered the area. At this point, La Vanguardiaalleged, one person "forced her to perform fellatio" and another "penetrated her anally." Security footage obtained by police, however, reportedly showed discrepancies in this account. No arrests were made, though the original report claimed an investigation was still in progress.

Now, in a statement to HNHH, Smooky says the reported allegations aren't true. The alleged incident "has nothing to do with me," Smooky said, adding that he wasn't even at the location at the time. Smooky's team is also working to "get to the bottom" of the reported allegations.

Smooky, a 15-year-old protégé of ASAP Rocky, landed on five cuts from ASAP Mob's Cozy Tapes sequel last year off the success of his "Stay 100" single and a performance with ASAP Twelvyy that caught Rocky's eye. "The swag, the talent, all that," Smooky toldPigeons & Planes when asked what he thought Rocky saw in him early on. "Everything is that little feeling you got. Like, 'Yeah, he the one right there.'"

Last month, Mob co-founder and VLONE boss ASAP Bari was charged with two counts of sexual assault related to an incident at a Shoreditch area hotel in July 2017. In an initial statement released shortly after footage of the incident surfaced last year, Bari said he was "disappointed' in both himself and the situation. He considered the footage, however, to be "misleading." Bari's next court appearance, per Pitchfork, is slated for June 14.
