Friday and Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray has been enlisted by Pepsi to helm a new trailer for the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.

All of this year’s performers—the announcement of whom had fans understandably losing it last September—appear in the appropriately cinematic new trailer, which fittingly carries the title “The Call.” We open on a shot of Eminem deep in the creative press alongside a depiction of his Slim Shady moniker, only for the writing session to end when Em receives a certain message from a certain someone.

From there, we’re given similar sequences featuring Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and (seen here as the orchestrator behind it all) Dr. Dre.

“Each time I collaborate with Dre, it seems to mark an important moment in entertainment history, from projects like FridaySet It OffStraight Outta Compton, to now the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show,” Gray said in a press release. “As a super fan, I consider it an honor and privilege to authentically build and create this moment with five of the most legendary artists in music history. It’s been a blast!”

“Given our epic lineup of five superstar talents, we wanted to deliver a cinematic experience that could properly honor each of the artists and celebrate their role in music and culture as they descend upon Los Angeles to deliver a performance for the ages,” Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s VP of Marketing, said of the trailer’s rollout.

Complementing the release of “The Call” will be an assortment of behind-the-scenes photos and clips, giveaways (including footballs signed by Dre), and surprise drops on the official Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show app.

As far as what to expect with next month’s highly anticipated performance, Dre previously teased the impending collaboration as one that will stand as one of the “biggest thrills” of his decades-long career.

“I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment,” Dre said last September.
