ASAP Rocky is back with a new single and video.

Thursday, Rocky shared the track “D.M.B.” and its accompanying official video.

Ahead of the drop, Rocky teased fans with a brief clip shared to Instagram featuring himself and Rihanna. The couple is currently expecting their first child together. As fans will recall, Rocky and Rihanna were seen in widely shared photos shooting a video together in July of last year.

Notably, the new video makes good on the promise of those photos by co-starring Rihanna, who appears throughout the nearly five-minute visual experience. At one point, Rocky is seen posing the “Marry me?” question via his grill. Rihanna, meanwhile, is seen utilizing the same grill format for an “I do” response.

In short, the video is a true celebration. Catch it in full above. The video was written, directed, and executive produced by Rocky for AWGE. Filming took place in New York. Per press materials, the video sees the couple “depicting true ride-or-die characters in a devoted relationship despite their circumstances.”

In the video, Rocky sports a custom two-finger ring he designed alongside Jason of Beverly Hills, which features 120 grams of 18 karat gold and five carats of flawless round brilliant white diamonds.

“ASAP Rocky has a keen eye for beauty and I respect that he knows what he likes,” Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills, explained. “We’ve been designing pieces together for years and he always surprises me with where he gets his inspiration and the types of pieces he challenges me to make.”

The song itself—production for which is credited to Lord Flacko, Skepta, Shlohmo, Hector Delgado, and Kelvin Krash with additional production by D33J—is now available on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc.

While Rocky has made a number of guest appearances since its 2018 release, including alongside SNOT on last year’s “Doja,”Testing remains his most recent full-length release. Previous teases from Rocky about what fans can expect with his next album—at one point known under the tentative title All Smiles—included word of his collaborative relationship with Morrissey, of whom Rocky is a fan.

Indeed, in a 2021 GQ cover story feature, it was revealed Rocky had been “working remotely” with Morrissey, who—at the time, at least—was said to have contributed writing, production, and vocals. The current status of those sessions remains unknown. As for the album, present expectations point to a 2022 release although nothing official has been announced as of this writing.
