Drake might not think Lil Yachty is as funny as he does.

On Monday, Yachty posted a screenshot of a text conversation with Drizzy, where the Atlanta rapper brought up his “Oprah’s Bank Account” collaborator’s stint playing Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi.

“I’m not gone lie bro, seeing u smile in a wheelchair is some funny shit,” Yachty wrote over the course of four texts.

The messages didn’t receive a reply from Drake, which Yachty acknowledged in a caption. “@champagnepapi never responded…lmao.”

In addition to Drizzy, Yachty’s 2020 single “Oprah’s Bank Account” also featured DaBaby. It marked Yachty’s return to music after being fairly quiet following the release of his 2018 album Nuthin’ 2 Prove. The track received a wild music video—a recreation of an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show featuring some inspired wardrobe choices. After it dropped, Lil Boat told Complex about collaborating with Drake, saying he tried to get Lizzo on the song and “posted a snippet on my finsta” in the process.

“Drake follows my finsta, which is crazy,” he recalled. “And he was like, ‘Yo, this is dope,’ which blew my mind. Of course that’s the homie, but him showing love like that, [was cool]. Then he [told me to] send it through. I didn’t know he was serious, but he got on it.”

Yachty went on to release the album Lil Boat 3 last year, which included that single as well as “Split/Whole Time.” The stacked features list included ASAP Rocky, Tyler, the Creator, Future, Mike Will Made-It, Young Thug, Lil Durk, and Lil Keed.
