DJ Spinderella has announced that she won’t be appearing alongside Salt-N-Pepa on their current tour.

Salt-N-Pepa have joined New Kids on the Block for their latest trek, the #NKOTB Mixtape Tour, which kicked off Thursday night in Cincinnati. However, Spinderella—who has been with the group since 1987—was nowhere to be seen.

She shared the news right before Thursday’s show began: “I’m deeply saddened to share with all the #SaltnPepa and #Spinderella fans that I will not be performing on the #NKOTB Mixtape Tour,” she wrote in the lengthy message. “Despite my participation in promoting the tour and being highly publicized as one of the acts, in January 2019 I received a ‘termination’ email from #SaltnPepa excluding me from performances with the group. It was my expectation, after making that decision, that they would also take responsibility for sharing the news with the public and other affected parties. It has been months now with no mention.”

Spinderella last performed with the duo during their Las Vegas residency in the fall, People reports. No statement has been released that explains Spinderella's absence.

In March, Lifetime revealed that the network will be releasing a miniseries about the trio’s history, titled Salt-N-Pepa. The show will trace the story of nursing students Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton as they launch their careers, starting with their first recording experience, per People. The actual James and Denton are executive producing the series, as well as Jesse Collins, Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, and others.
