You know, I don't have a lot of soft spots in my heart. I warn anyone getting into the music industry that it's a relentless one, advise them to choose a less competitive passion, and watch as 99% of attempts at turning a profit fail. I buckle when I see a talented producer in need, and thefaded.'s story here is as touching as it is inspiring. This California native had a computer that died on him, and has been using his work computer and lenders from friends to make records for the past six weeks. His entire July Waves EP was crafted in renegade fashion, and he's hoping that enough people will support his work that he can get himself another computer. We're giving away a freebie from this release called "Out Here" that dips between trap and club flawlessly, and you can walk away with a download for free. You can take it even further and go to his SoundCloud, where his bio has links for free downloads of every release he's ever put out. If you're a kind and appreciative fan of music, though, you will hit the purchase link and pop over to his BandCamp to support one of his many wonderful releases. Or, at the very least, share this post around to friends that might have deeper pockets.
