Kamaiyah is back with a new (old?) banger featuring Travis Scott titled "All I Know."
According to the Oakland rapper, the song was initially leaked online. She took to Twitter to address the situation saying, "that’s the wrong version this shit still ain’t mixed and 2yrs old but fuck it."
The duo was originally rumored to be working on new music together a few years ago, according to her 2016 interview with 106 KMEL. "He liked the swag...His management ended up coming over, we talked with his management, and he ended up in the studio that night and [we] got a record. Trav fuck with it, I fuck with Trav. I love his energy. I love his vibe. We got something coming."
While the origins of the song are unclear, "All I Know" could have been one of the records that came to fruition when they linked back in 2016. Either way, Kamaiyah and La Flame is definitely a solid pairing. West coast vibes come through on the instrumental accompanied with a bass built to break the speakers in your car at full volume. Both rappers hold their own on their respective verses as well.
Kamaiyah has been fairly quiet as of late as fans eagerly anticipate the release of her next project Don't Ever Get it Twisted. The last offering we received from the California act was another collab, "Addicted to Ballin" featuring Schoolboy Q.
On the other hand, Travis can't miss in 2018. Since dropping his third studio album Astroworld back in August, the Houston rapper has been on a tear with chart-topping singles like "Sicko Mode," appearances in NBA 2K19, and performances on Saturday Night Live.
