After linking up with Shawn Mendes for “Summer of Love” and with Yandel for the collaborative album Dynasty, Tainy has returned with a new solo track.
With guest appearances from Bad Bunny and Julieta Venegas, “Lo Siento BB:/” is the first single off Tainy’s upcoming debut album DATA. The new track comes after Tainy won Producer of the Year for the second year in a row at the Billboard Latin Awards, and received a handful of nominations at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Urban Song.
“This track is a dream come true,” Tainy said of “Lo Siento BB:/” in a press release. “It’s been a long journey to finally get to release a part of the work from my upcoming debut album and I think there’s no better way then this to kick it all off. I am a huge fan of both these artists and to have been able to bring them into my creative space and create something really different not heard before makes me so happy!”
Bad Bunny himself shared in Tainy’s enthusiasm, praising the latest work from a go-to collaborator. “Working with Tainy is always a pleasure,” he said in the release. “The world knows that when we get together we make magic. What’s so special about this track? That in this one I have the honor of sharing vocals on the same track with Julieta Venegas, something I never imagined and that’s why it fills me with so much emotion.”
