Yung JocĀ took to social media this week to unveil is new ābeard weave.āĀ And you already know Twitter users immediately went in.
The rapperāsĀ new look was first shared byĀ Atlanta-based barber Scooby Cutz, who posted photos and a video of Jocās fake facial hair: āMy boy @joclive said he aināt waitn on no beard to grow,ā the barber wrote in the caption. āā¦.Beard gang me NOW!ā
Joc also displayed his temporary transformation in a couple of Instagram videos, showingĀ himself getting a touch up with clippers.
Beard weaves and installationsĀ have become increasingly popular over the past 10 years, as more and more men are willing to shell out hundreds, sometimes thousands,Ā of dollars to go from ābaby-facedā to rugged. However, many Twitter users werenāt exactly impressed with the 37-year-oldās new look. Many fans began roasting Joc for his decision, while others poked fun at the fact that he struggled to grow facial hair.
Joc addressed some of the criticism in a social media video, implyingĀ he got the beard weave for some kind of acting role.
āYāall act like I donāt be in little movies and shit like that ā¦Ā I wanted a beard, hell. Yāall got a problem with my beard?ā he said. āI donāt give a shit if I look crazy or not. This aināt like Iām wearing this shit like itās me. Yāall know I donāt grow no facial hair ā¦Ā Iām not doing this for a chick. Iām getting paid to play a part, a role ā¦Ā I donāt care if it donāt look right ā¦Ā At the end of the day, I troll this shit out of yāall.ā
