Chicago rapper Kami is back with a new track called “Reboot.”
The new record finds the Savemoney member reuniting with his fellow Chi-Town artists Chance the Rapper, Joey Purp, and Smoko Ono. “Reboot” serves as the lead single off Kami’s upcoming sophomore album, Very Slight, with Smoko.
The three-minute cut is both catchy and atmospheric, with each rapper holding his own distinctive flow. In fact, our only complaint about the track is that it didn't arrive earlier in the summer.
You can stream “Reboot” now on all major streaming services, including Apple Music/iTunes and via Spotify below. The video is also available up top.
Very Slight is scheduled to drop Sept. 14. Kami dropped his debut album, Just Like the Movies, back in 2017.
Fans can also catch Kami at Chicago’s North Coast Festival on Sept. 2. The event will include performances by DJ Snake, Miguel, Mura Masa, and others.
