Lil Baby has joined forces with Ed Sheeran.

Weeks after unleashing a couple of solo tracks, the ATL rapper returns with the official remix of Sheeran’s 2021 track “2Step.” The song was accompanied by a visual that was shot in the Ukrainian capital last year, months before the country was invaded by Russia.

“We filmed the ‘2Step’ video last year in Kyiv,” Sheeran captioned a teaser. “And although it was my first time there, I quickly loved the people and the place. There was no sign of the horror that was to come to Ukraine and my heart goes out to everyone there.”

Sheeran said proceeds from the video’s stream will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

“This video really reminds us of the best of times; it was the last video we did before our world fell apart,” the video’s production company, Radioaktivefilm, said in a statement. “Watching it gives us some normality and happiness, and we hope you enjoy this video as much as we do right now.”

The original “2Step” track appeared on Sheeran’s 2021 studio album = (Equals). He spoke about the record during an interview with Heart host Dev Griffin, explaining he wrote it during his “Lowest point of confidence.”

“Every song I did, I would send in and just get a lukewarm reaction,” he said.“I went into the studio and just wrote about being really low on confidence and I think that’s probably one of my favorite songs on the album.”

You can stream the “2Step” remix on Apple Music and Spotify, and watch its official video—directed by NL Vossi—above.
