Blocboy JB has unleashed the official video for "Swervin"—his first solo record of 2020. The visual was directed by Zach Hurth, who shot BlocBoy's previous videos for "Silly Watch," "Sticcs," "Still Crippin," and more. The Memphis rapper told Complex he and his team filmed the video at the last-minute and had to make do with their limited resources.

"I was on Trippie Redd’s Love Me More Tour while we shot this video. It was a day off in Des Moines, Iowa," he explained. "I had videographer Zach Hurth and gang with me, so we decided to pull off something last minute. We couldn’t rent any exotic cars last minute so we just found this random car lot warehouse, dressed up and made this happened. Random shit."

The video was shot entirely inside the warehouse, where BlocBoy and Co. rocked three-piece suits while doing a dance called The Clutch.

"To be honest, the world be doing all my dances and don’t even know it," BlocBoy said. "But we’re on The Clutch and Bloc Step all 2020."

BlocBoy's latest song comes through Foundation Entertainment/Interscope. He has not announced the official release date for his project, but says he's aiming for a spring or summer release—preferably on his May 19 birthday. Stay tuned.
