As Yo Gotti continues to expand his CMG empire, the veteran rap mogul has just signed the rising Jacksonville artist Lil Poppa to his ranks.

Revealed exclusively by Complex, Poppa joins the impressive CMG roster of artists that already includes Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Mozzy, Blocboy JB, and many more. The 22-year-old rapper makes a solid addition to Gotti’s label, with the artist releasing a series of solid projects, including Evergreen Wildchild 2, Blessed I Guess, and Under Investigation 2 over the last few years.

Gotti shared the news on Instagram.

The other artists on CMG have also been having great years. EST Gee and 42 Dugg recently joined forces to deliver a very good joint project in their Last Ones Left, which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Before Lil Poppa, CMG’s latest signee Mozzy talked about the honor of being amongst such other great artists.

“Overdue, overdue, out the gate,” Mozzy said. “Big dawg been tappin’ in with me—I’m talkin’ about even before a n***a career even popped. … We had conversations, he told me there was a seat at the table. I had to get my life right, tie up a couple of loose ends; I tied them motherfuckers up, we here now. You already seen the roster, that motherfucker go brazy already. It’s no secret. I’m just trying to get straight to it, n***a, I’m trying to run up some cocaine money.”

Now with veteran leadership and several other impressive artists in his corner, Lil Poppa seems poised to take the rap game by storm.

To commemorate the new label deal, Lil Poppa has released his Yo Gotti collab “H Spot,” which also arrives with a music video. You can watch that below and grab “H Spot” on streaming here. His new project Under Investigation III will drop on April 27.
