It wouldn’t be Christmas without Mariah Carey in your ear drums 24/7. We’re still in Halloween mode, but that hasn’t stopped Carey from booking Christmas shows for this December, including one Dec. 11 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is an industry unto itself. Earlier this year, she was sued in a copyright infringement lawsuit regarding the 1994 Yuletide staple. Every Holiday season the song seems to smash another record, even topping the US Billboard Hot 100 for the first time 25 years after its original release.
