Watch Takeoff Conquer Space in New "Casper" Video
Takeoff shares the video for "Casper" off 'The Last Rocket,' set in the year 2092.
Directed by Gabriel Hart, Takeoff’s video for “Casper” takes place in the year 2092, where the Migos rapper is on a quest for Selene.
Takeoff, in full astronaut gear, is on a planet with his spaceship (a highly advanced Rolls Royce) and a squad of women. There are cool moments where Takeoff is hovering around with his modified sneakers and looking real futuristic throughout the visual. All in all, it fits the theme of his latest solo album, The Last Rocket, perfectly.
“Casper” is the third single from the album, following “Last Memory” and “Lead the Wave.” The Last Rocket is part of a string of independent releases from the group—Quavo’s Quavo Hunchois out now, and you can expect Offset’s to come in December.
Just recently, Migos participated in Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, and it was a hilarious display of each member’s individuality. Arguably, the star of the segment was Takeoff, who had great comedic timing. Maybe we’ll see Takeoff get into acting soon?
