Sia is ready to step out of the shadows and tell her story in a documentary co-directed by her and Erik Anders Lang, who is her husband.
According to Jezebel via Deadline, Lang has teamed up with producer Ryland Aldrich to create a new production company based in Los Angeles called Pictures. Their first project will be The Untitled Sia Documentary Project, which will offer “a never-before-seen look at the Grammy nominated performer’s life.”
Sia will have the final word on what information will be allowed to the public. She’s tends to be mysterious, and has actually spoken about her choice to remind behind the scenes in a March interview with Kristen Wiig in Interview. “I’m allowed to maintain some modicum of privacy,” she said. “I would like not to be picked apart or for people to observe when I put on ten pounds or take off ten pounds or I have a hair extension out of place or my fake tan is botched... Most people don’t have to be under that pressure, and I’d like to be one of them.”
