Nearly two years after his debut album 10 Summers, DJ Mustard has gathered some familiar faces for his long-awaited Cold Summer project which is out now.

Fans of the 26-year-old producer have had some monstrous EDM-friendly singles to hold them down. At the beginning of the year, he and Travi$ Scott dropped “Whole Lotta Lovin’” that became a show stopper at music festivals. A few months later, Mustard delivered “Don’t Hurt Me” that had a rare appearance from Nicki Minaj alongside Jeremih.

"I couldn't wait any longer to give my fans the music they've been waiting for,” he tells Complex. “This is straight from me to them as a perfect way to end the summer."

Cold Summer spans 13 tracks, and captures the same West Coast, sun-soaked vibes as its predecessor. The album starts with “Been A Long Time,” interpolating Aaliyah and Timbaland’s “Try Again” with YG on the hook: “It’s been a long time, I shouldn’t have left you/Without a Mustard beat to step to/Flex to, let loose to, finesse to/nigga, nigga, nigga, bang your set to.” There’s no doubt here that YG and Mustard are back in business. And with Ty Dolla $ign featured, it shows Pushaz Ink (the label and the crew) are a force to be reckoned with.

Mustard also has an incredible run with Jeezy. The Atlanta rapper make an appearance with OT Genasis on “Dope Boy,” featuring some potent raps about whipping work from OT while Da Snowman delivers another hood sermon. Young Thug and YG pop up on “Party," which is a pull your seat back anthem that'll be your song for going out on the weekdays instead of weekends. Without spoiling too much, you need to press play on “What These Bitches Want” because it features a familiar G-funk riff from a classic Warren G tune.
