Diddy Talks Revolt TV & Being the King of New York on The Breakfast Club

Diddy is changing the game again.

Earlier today Diddy stopped by Power 105's The Breakfast Club to talk about his new cable network Revolt TV and why he's the king of New York.

He explains that his decision to start the network came after he saw an opening to expand the reach of music. "In like five years, television will be everywhere," he says. "It will be on your mobile devices, it will be everywhere. It will be worldwide. That's really the opportunity I saw. I saw there was no ESPN of music. There's no CNN of music. There was no one trusted destination."

Later on Diddy responds to claims about who is considered a king in hip-hop, which was sparked by Kendrick Lamar's "king of New York" line. "I was a king before Kendrick, I'mma be a king after Kendrick," he says. "I think that Kendrick is a young king. I think the people use the words too lightly."

"He ain't the king of New York, though," he adds. "I'm the king of New York." You can watch the full interview above.
