No one can deny Ashanti's impact in the R&B scene. The 33-year-old singer owned the charts during her time with Murder Inc. alongside Ja Rule and Irv Gotti. In Complex TV's new episode of #TBT, Ashanti shares some awesome stories about her greatest hits, and the videos that accompanied her career highlights.

Ashanti's first big break was performing the hook on Ja Rule's 2001 single "Always on Time," which she reveals was originally supposed to feature Brandy. She talks about having a wardrobe malfunction during the video shoot, which her male fans would probably do anything to see. Ashanti also describes her work with Fat Joe on "What's Luv?" and branching out as a solo artist on her first hit single, "Foolish." According to the R&B starlet, actor Terrence Howard got a little frisky with her during the video shoot.

Watch the full episode of #TBT above, where Ashanti also talks about hanging out with an elephant on the video set for "Rock wit U (Awww Baby)." Her new album Braveheart is available on iTunes.
