PREMIERE: JessB Brings Her Day Ones With Her In The Vibrant Visuals For "Take It Down"

The NZ rapper brings some strong party vibes on her latest single.

After hitting us with her diamond-hard sophomore single "Set It Off" last year, New Zealand's JessB has brought us the dancehall-influenced "Take It Down", which is set to be the first track from her upcoming EP.

The Auckland-raised rapper has said this one's a "summer song for the sisters" and the lively video directed by Tom Augustine in collaboration with Chillbox Creative, sets off the vibe perfectly.

Mentor and legendary NZ producer P-Money provides the backbeat for this uptempo jam, with Rubi Du providing the assist on hook duties. The colorful visuals capture a snapshot of Jess' life right now, highlighting the importance of finding the time to have fun surrounded by her friends and those that inspire her, even when everything else is serious.

JessB is setting up for a big 2018, having recently copped co-signs from New Zealand rap powerhouses SWIDT and David Dallas, as well as supporting Stormzy in concert last year. The audio for this one drops on all platforms on February 22, but in the meantime you can practise your bestest wine to the full video up above.
