Young Buck was arrested and booked in a local Nashville, Tennessee jail for vandalism after he allegedly damaged his ex-girlfriend’s car.

TMZ reports that the incident happened on Wednesday. In an arrest affidavit, police say the rapper’s ex reported a domestic disturbance. Buck had texted her earlier that day to let her know he was coming over; however, she said when he didn’t receive a response from her, he started kicking her front door.

Buck’s ex also said that after he left, she went outside and saw that he had smashed her car up, which had been sitting in her driveway, on the driver’s side and passenger’s side. The incident was captured on film and police verified the damage to her vehicle.

Police later tracked down Buck, real name David Darnell Brown, when he was driving and pulled him over to arrest him. He was under a $1,000 bond, but has already been released.

In December, 50 Cent and G-Unit made headlines when they claimed they own Young Buck’s music catalog. The news came amid a royalties dispute, which initially came to be in January 2020 when Buck filed for bankruptcy. He apparently is in debt to not only Fif, but his ex-girlfriend, the IRS, and others. In November, Buck arrived at a settlement in his bankruptcy after being accused of attempting to hide $24,228.14 in royalties.
