NBA youngboy sued

YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s legal troubles continue.

YoungBoy and fellow rapper Quando Rondo are now being sued by YoungBoy's former DJ for allegedly attacking him at a Florence, South Carolina concert in December 2018, The Advocate reports.

The DJ, Carl Capers, claims that the two rappers punched and kicked him while he acted as Youngboy’s DJ and tour manager. The suit points out that the South Carolina show on Dec. 21 was canceled “due to various reasons, one being an altercation/fight” between Youngboy and a member from the crowd. The two rappers, Capers, the management, and entourage were all escorted backstage.

Capers has alleged that Rondo insisted that he go back to where the fight happened and find a member from the entourage. Capers claimed that Rondo attacked him before YoungBoy joined in.

“Even as Mr. Capers was on the ground and trying to reason with both his attackers to avoid further escalation of things, Kentrell Gaulden and Tyquian Bowman continued to violently attack Mr. Capers with the artists punching and kicking Mr. Capers in his face and other parts of his body,” the suit states.

Video of the violent incident has emerged on social media. YoungBoy’s lawyer has stated that he wasn’t aware of the incident or the lawsuit but is looking into it.

Last month, TMZ reported that Youngboy was arrested in Atlanta and charged with three misdemeanors for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, “use of fighting words,” and physical obstruction with another.
