Lloyd Banks seems a little down these days.
On Wednesday, when a fan asked the former G-Unit member to drop another album, Banks replied, “Let’s be real..ain’t nobody checking for banks anymore.”
That same night, another fan asked if Banks has a copy of the deluxe version of his 2004 album The Hunger for More, to which the rapper replied, “nah I wish i had one smh.”
Banks’ Twitter is rife with more sad tweets, including one from Sept. 2 that reads, “unwanted attention,” and another from August that says, “withdrawal.”
Adding fuel to the fire is 50 Cent’s ongoing beef with former G-Unit members, specifically Banks and Young Buck. As it stands, only Fif and Tony Yayo are still members of the group. Back in July, Fif seemingly took shots at the rest of the group in an Instagram post. “Some people are not built to make it, their habits and instincts [sic] will pull them right back to struggle,” the thinly-veiled caption read. “You put them on, they fuck up the package.”
He replied to a comment in which someone wrote that “Banks would have went far far in the game.“
“You don't know the boy, he is doing what he do best right now. LOL,” Fif shot back.
In June 2018, Fif announced that Banks was “Officially Off G-Unit Records.“ The last release we saw from Banks was the 2016 mixtape Halloween Havoc 3: Four Days Of Fury.
