Justine Skye is publicly addressing her split with Giveon for the first time with her new song “What a Lie.”
In the track’s accompanying video, the singer is shown by herself where she fully realizes the lessons she learned from the relationship and betrayal. Skye is set to perform “What a Lie” on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday night.
The song is Justine’s first release since her 2021 Timbaland-produced album Space & Time. The project’s deluxe version is slated to arrive in late June.
A few days after Skye announced “What a Lie,” Giveon shared news of his upcoming release “Lie Again” set for April 29, which Skye called a “weak ass song.”
