In celebration of his sophomore album release, Compton rapper YG recently hosted a "Still Brazy" art installation and pop-up shop in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. Still Brazy, which boldly targets hard-hitting issues like politics and police corruption, is a powerful timeline that highlights the ins and outs of the rapper's life since his freshman effort, My Krazy Life.

Complex News had the opportunity to chop it up with YG at the pop-up, where he discussed everything from working with Drake and Lil Wayne, to his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar's controversial gang-unifying sneakers, and, of course, his new album.

"I knew I wanted the sound to be taken to the next level, so whoever I was working with, I told them I wanted some next level, West Coast sh*t," he said. For the full interview, peep the video above.
