Rihanna is taking a walk down memory lane.
As she prepares to welcome baby No. 2, the Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram to share maternity pictures from her first pregnancy. The pictures captured a topless RiRi standing against an ocean backdrop, as she rocks a string bikini bottom, snake-skin heels, and pieces of gold jewelry.
“Here’s a little series I call ‘Rub on ya titties; in honor of my first pregnancy, embracing motherhood like a g, and the magic that this body made!” she captioned the Instagram carousel. “Baby RZA… he in there not having a clue how nuts his mama is, or how obsessed he bout to make me #maternityshoot2022 #tobecontinued.”
The photos were released just months after Rihanna confirmed her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. The upcoming family addition will mark her and ASAP Rocky’s second child together. The couple confirmed their first baby had been born in May 2022, but didn’t reveal his name until earlier this week.
Rihanna opened up about motherhood in her February cover story for British Vogue, where she described the experience as “legendary.”
“It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever,” she explained. “You literally try to remember it — and there are photos of my life before — but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far, because… Because it doesn’t matter.”
