During his April performance at KAOS nightclub in Las Vegas, G-Eazy surprised fans by inviting Machine Gun Kelly to join him on stage. The moment signaled a truce between the rappers who had spent the previous year exchanging shots on diss tracks and social media.

So, what led the artist to finally squash their beef? According to G-Eazy, it was Kid Cudi.

The Oakland rapper shared the story during a recent interview on Real 92.3 Los Angeles, confirming it all went down during Paris Fashion Week, about one month before the KAOS concert.

"I was in Paris Fashion Week and I'm sitting at a table with Push, Pharrell," G-Eazy recalled, "and then Don C tap me, he's like, 'Yo, Cudi wants to holler at you.' I'm like, 'What?'"

He ultimately walked over to the rapper and began chopping it up.

"We talk for a minute and he's like, 'G, you just gotta do one thing for me, man. Promise me you'll do it.' And I'm like, 'Huh?'" G-Eazy said. "He's like, 'Bro, you and Kells gotta make peace.' And I kid you not, at this moment, Kells was walking into this party."

The "No Limit" rapper is happy that the beef is over. "Life is short, bro. It's about spread love, let's all get money, stay positive and let's just do good shit," Eazy said.

He's moved on to other things, like dropping his Scary Nights EP—his first project since his B-Sides series dropped over the summer.
