Drake can breathe a sigh of relief.

According to legal documents reviewed by Complex, the OVO rapper was granted a permanent restraining order against an alleged stalker who’s been harassing him for years. Drake’s lawyers, Larry Stein and Ashley Yeargan, filed the request in early March, and ultimately secured a temporary restraining order for their client. In their filing, the attorneys pointed out Drake’s alleged stalker was arrested back in 2017 for trespassing on Drake’s Hollywood Hills estate.

His legal team also claimed that the woman, later identified as 29-year-old Mesha Collins, had sent disturbing emails to Drake involving him and his family. One of the alleged messages suggested Drake shoot himself and his son, telling him to “put a bullet through your head now bitch.”

Stein and Yeargan also accused Collins of trying to reach Drake by filing a $4 million defamation lawsuit against the rapper. Collins filed the complaint, which was ultimately dismissed, shortly after her 2017 arrest. However, Drake insisted he couldn’t have defamed her because he had no idea who she was at the time.

“In April 2017, somebody broke into my Los Angeles home when I was not there. At the time of that incident, I was not told any details about the trespasser, including her name,” he wrote, as reported by RadarOnline. “I understand that [Collins] filed a lawsuit against me in August 2021. When this lawsuit was filed and served on me, I learned that Plaintiff is the same person who broke into my house in Los Angeles in April 2017.”

According to TMZ, the protective order requires Collins to stay at least 100 yards away from Drake; his 4-year-old son, Adonis; his mother, Sandy Graham; and father, Dennis Graham. The restraining order is expected to expire April 11, 2025. Collins was reportedly absent from Tuesday’s hearing, but will receive “timely and proper notice” of the outcome.
