UPDATED 1/14, 11:45 p.m. ET: Jamie Lynn Spears responded to her sister Britney’s comments about her ABC interview, which she called “accusatory,” with a note uploaded to her Instagram account.

“Quite frankly, the things being said are absolutely not the truth and I have to clarify that, because now it’s getting harder for me to rationalize to my oldest daughter why our family continues to get death threats, as a result of their aunt’s vague and accusatory posts, especially when we know she could tell the truth, and put an end to all of it in one second if she wanted to,” Jamie Lynn wrote.

Britney Spears wasn’t pleased with her little sister’s ABC News interview.

On Thursday night, the 40-year-old pop star took to social media to share her honest thoughts about Jamie Lynn’s sit-down with Juju Chang. Jamie Lynn was promoting her new memoir, Things I Should Have Said, which explores her personal struggles and her role in older sister’s 13-year conservatorship.

Spears told her fans she watched portions of the interview Wednesday night as she endured a 104-degree fever and severe headache.

“It was actually kind of nice having a fever so high ’cause I had to surrender to not caring. I just couldn’t give a fuck, but my head hurt so bad ...” she wrote.

Spears went on to say there were two parts of Jamie Lynn’s interview that were particularly bothering; one of which came when Jamie Lynn spoke about Spears’ “erratic” behavior 15 years ago, around the time the conservatorship was put in place.

“She was never around me much 15 years ago at that time… so why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense ??? REALLY ???” Spears wrote.

She also expressed frustration over Jamie Lynn’s comments on her 2017 “tribute” at the Radio Disney Music Awards, where she performed remixes of Spears’ biggest hits.

“Then where the lady mentioned why did she accuse you of doing remixes to her songs … I know it may sound like a silly thing to most people but I wrote a lot of my songs and my sister was the baby,” Spears continued. “She never had to work for anything. Everything was always given to her!

“ … But see, now it’s a joke. The last thing I would ever do is ask for what was given to her!! So yes, they did ruin my dreams,” Spears wrote, before confirming she was taking a break from Instagram. “… My family ruined my dreams 100 billion percent and tried to make me look like the crazy one. My family loves to put me down and hurt me always, so I am disgusted with them!!”

Spears’ conservatorship was terminated back in November, after she gave multiple bombshell testimonies in which she accused her father of conservatorship abuse.
