Fans have been waiting on news about Travi$ Scott's new album, and he finally delivered. This past weekend, Travi$ previewed some new music during one of his concerts. While doing so, he also casually slipped in a huge announcement. "My album is coming out in a week, right?" he said. "So I'm gonna play a couple of joints on there." You can check out a video of him making the announcement below.

It seems pretty likely that, if true, the album Travi$ referenced would be his long-promised sophomore effort Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. It's a little odd for an artist to announce something as big as a surprise album in such a casual way, considering the amount of promotion that usually goes into releasing a project. But then again, Travi$ has always been a fan of releasing things with very little advance warning. He gave a similar notice a few weeks back on Twitter, simply promising that his fans were going to "eat in a big way," and it resulted in him dropping "Pick Up the Phone" with Young Thug and Quavo two days later.

Travi$ actually announced the title of another project—Astroworld—in May, which he previously claimed would be on its way after Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight dropped. It's assumed that he is still sticking to this release sequence, but it's always possible that things have changed.
