Earlier this week, Omeretta the Great sparked much debate when she cast doubt on rappers claiming Atlanta on her new track “Sorry Not Sorry.”

“College Park is not Atlanta/Lithonia is not Atlanta/Clayco is not Atlanta/Decatur is not Atlanta/Gwinnett is not Atlanta/Roswell is not Atlanta/Forest park is not Atlanta/Lilburn is not Atlanta,” Omeretta declared on the song.

It didn’t take long before T.I. responded to Omeretta’s bold claims. “Respectfully…Only fools dispute facts,” Tip wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “#ToWhomItMayConcern.”

It’s also worth noting that some of the most notable Atlanta rappers, including Ludacris and OutKast, come from areas Omeretta called out on the track.

Meanwhile, Atlanta rapper Latto has now joined the conversation, maintaining that Omeretta’s declaration is “not a big deal.”

After posting a video on TikTok in which she wrote, “Clay Co ishnot Alanna,” a fan asked Latto if Omeretta’s song was “really that big of a deal.”

“It’s not a big deal lol,” Latto replied. “Clay Co is the south we not the city she said the truth tbh.”
