The deluxe edition features six additional tracks, including the previously released “Worst Day.” The newly added tracks include features from Lil Baby, BabyFace Ray, 42 Dugg, Lil Durk, and Young Scooter. To coincide with the release of the expanded version, Future has also dropped Donda-designed merch. The pieces include multiple hoodies, a pair of socks, a long-sleeve T-shirt, a balaclava, hats, and an eye mask. The collection will only be available until midnight ET this Thursday (May 5).

In a new interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Future explained why he decided to drop off the deluxe version of the project. “I just really wanted to just keep feeding the streets, but at the same time, I already had picked the album and it was just like, I still had more songs that I wanted to put on the album, but on them on the 16 on the first part,” he said. “So people just that first and then come back.”

The rapper also revealed that he’s hoping to perform the project from front to back when he hits the road to do shows. “I want the performance to be just even better… I definitely want to perform the album from beginning to end. Be able to get that that off of just that look,” he said. “You know what I’m saying? Just be consistent with the look instead of just trying to fit every song, do all the songs, old songs. I want to be able to just do the album and let people enjoy that.”

Elsewhere during the chat, Future opened up about collaborating with Drake on the project.

“We just did those records just because it was just the timing of it, but it was inevitable, you know what I’m saying, for it to happen like that,” Future said. “I’m thinking I was in LA when I recorded that song [I’m The One] I played it for him after I did it. Once it was done, I played the record for him.”

Although he just dropped off his new album, Future said that he’s looking forward to blessing fans with even more music later this year.

“I’m going to put music out,” Future said. “I’m going to put more music out, but my team, you know what I’m saying, little double oh, double oh seven, then Boston Richie and just got there and really just put music out with them. They dropping next, so it’s really about them. You know what I’m saying? Just showcasing the homies that’s coming up behind me or whatever. Just giving them that super work ethic. But they already building their own buzz up on their own, so it’s going good.

Future was already on track to get a huge first week for the record, with a projected 175-200k album equivalent units, but the expanded edition will surely increase that number overall. First week projections indicate that the record will confidently land at the No. 1 spot, and would be the biggest debut of 2022 so far. When the album first released, it occupied the No. 1 spot on Apple Music in nearly 60 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
