Drake Teases What to Expect From Intro on New Album

Drake seems to be hinting that the opening track on his next album will be something special.

Drake always places a huge importance on the introductions to all his projects, kicking off everything from So Far Gone to More Life with a memorable start. And with a newly announced album called Scorpion coming in June, it's time to get excited about what he's got in store.

Judging from a comment on one his latest Instagram posts, he's got something special in store for Scorpion album intro.

@Steezthegreat commented on Drake's IG post saying, "Zip up is hard," referring to the Patagonia top he was sporting, to which the 6 God responded, "harder than the album intro or nah?" It's not a lot to go on, but we're definitely in the middle of another classic pre-album Drake hype cycle. He's released three solo tracks this year, and judging from the success both "God's Plan" and "Nice for What" have had so far, whatever comes next is going to be a huge moment for him.

While we don't know who's in the production bullpen for Scorpion, it's safe to assume Murda Beatz will show up once again, as will Boi-1da and, obvi, 40. Up until Views, 40 handled the production on all of the intros to Drake's studio LPs.

Scorpion will likely be Drizzy's eighth full-length to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
