After his many years in the game, Warren G knows that life is beautiful, and he’s provided a new visual to prove just that.

On Sunday, the West Coast icon dropped his new music video for new track “Life Is Beautiful,” and is joined by a bass player in the middle of a street in Los Angeles to make his point known in the black-and-white clip. The video kicks off with a message from Los Angeles Police Department police chief Michael Moore, per HipHopDX, as he compares the city during the holiday season to The Purge

“My message to anybody coming to Los Angeles, especially during the holiday season, is don’t,” Moore can be heard saying. “It’s like that movie Purge, you know instead of 24 hours to commit your crime, these bad guys do it 365 days to commit whatever they want. We can’t guarantee your safety.”

In the track, Warren takes a stance against violence in L.A. just hours before his step-brother Dr. Dre hits the Super Bowl Halftime stage with Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige. It’s a big day for West Coast hip-hop, and Warren is just finding his own way to add to the monumental occasion.

“We was taught to earn stripes to get famous,” Warren raps in the new cut. ” My definition of a gangsta is ‘M.O.D.’ and that’s ‘Money Over Danger.’”

Outside of the new song, Warren has also appeared in the NFL Network’s “This Is LA” campaign alongside Tyra Banks, Danny Trejo, Vanessa Bryant and Lauren London. You can check out the clip below.
