Run the Jewels

Last year, hip-hop duo Run the Jewels formed an alliance with breweries to design their own craft beer. The move resulted in an IPA dubbed Stay Gold, named after the crew’s song of the same name. Turns out the Northeast-style pale ale was the first of many brews, as Run the Jewels announced a new trio coming out later this year.

These new beers are also named after tracks from the duo's album RTJ3, released in December 2016. The Panther Like a Panther Stout hits shelves later this month. Then the Legend Has It Pilsner comes out in April, followed by the Down Double IPA in October. A CBD-infused version of the Pilsner will be available in Europe on April 20.

RTJ is well-known for their unique merchandise. For Christmas, the duo dropped a woven quilt featuring their faces and the phrase “Run the Yules.” Last year Killer Mike and El-P also released limited-edition of action figures of themselves. (And never forget Meow the Jewels.)

Aside from their new craft beer empire, Run the Jewels is hitting the road to support Lorde on her forthcoming Melodrama tour, which kicks off in March.
