Missy Elliott and SZA Discuss Dream Collaboration on Twitter

Can this please happen?

Twitter is often little more than a cesspool of memes and bad takes. But every once in a while something bright and shiny emerges from that desolate place, one of those things being the possibility of a SZA and Missy Elliott collab.

SZA retweeted a fan who called on the singer and Missy to join forces. "A dangerous dream I only dreamt in me dreams," she wrote.

I really wanna hear a @MissyElliott x @sza collab.

The legendary Missy Elliott herself responded to SZA’s tweet: "Sounds like a scorcher banger to me!"

Both of these incredible ladies put out new music last year. SZA dropped her highly acclaimed debut album Ctrl, which earned five Grammy nominations. Meanwhile, Missy proved to everyone that she never lost it with an incredible performance at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors and the release of her single “I’m Better.”

Sure nothing is promised, but how can I not think about a “Go Gina” remix featuring Missy? Fans seem to agree that this collab would be nothing short of legendary.

DON’T PLAY WITH ME LIKE THIS MISSY I’M ABOUT TO FLIP MY SHIT AND REVERSE IT
