Many of Jaden Smith’s videos are shot close to home, near his infamous Tesla and set to the backdrop of some magenta sunset. His latest visual is no different, but more fitting since it’s for his track “A Calabasas Freestyle.”
In the video, the young rapper skates around his home turf surrounded by a crew of friends heavily decked out in MSFTS merch. As he skates around town, Smith casual drops some bars filled with an atypical amount of auto-tune. Check it out above.
“A Calabasas Freestyle" comes off his most recent project The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story, which also features the Dragon Ball Z-inspired single "GOKU." The Sunset Tapes were the second project Jaden dropped in 2018, following Syre: The Electric Album EP.
In an Instagram post from last year, he dedicated the album to the women in his life.
"Thank you to every single Woman in the world for inspiring me—the one I know personally and ones I can only see from a far—I would be nothing without You," he wrote.
Smith is going to be performing at Coachella this April under headliners like Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande.
