G Eazy’s hit single “No Limit” featuring ASAP Rocky and Cardi B is sitting pretty at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. It should receive an extra boost on the charts thanks to a new remix that adds to the star-studded guest list, and a bit of history to go along with it.

“No Limit” borrows part of its flow, specifically the bridge, from Tear Up Da Club Thugs’ 1999 song “Slob on My Knob.” It’s not the only hit song this year that did so. ASAP Ferg’s “Plain Jane” also utilized the familiar flow created by Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J. But G-Eazy did one better by bringing Juicy on board for the remix of “No Limit” and, essentially, rap over his borrowed flow. Talk about levels. Belly and French Montana also join in on the remix, while ASAP Rocky stays on and Cardi B’s original verse is moved out.
