In less than a month, the Grammys will return to the small screen to precariously hand out a bunch of awards to the hottest names in music.

Sure the actual awards are always messy and fun, but I think many of us can agree that one of the best parts is the array of live performances. With Alicia Keys set to host, the Recording Academy finally announced this year's performers, and it's no surprise Cardi B is on the bill.

According to Variety, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Post Malone, Janelle Monáe, Shawn Mendes, Dan + Shay, and country queen Kacey Musgraves are all slated to perform this year. This initial lineup feels plucked directly from the 2018 Top 40 playlist, with a dominate pop focus, despite rap's massive hold over the charts these days.

All the performers are nominated for at least one award, and for many this is their first nomination. First-time nominee Post Malone is up for Record of the Year (“Rockstar” with 21 Savage), Album of the Year (Beerbongs & Bentleys), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Better Now”), and Best Rap/Sung Performance (“Rockstar”).

Meanwhile Monáe is up for Album of the Year (Dirty Computer) and Best Music Video (“Pynk”), and Cardi B leads the pack with five nominations for Record of the Year (“I Like It”), Album of the Year (Invasion Of Privacy), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Maroon 5 (“Girls Like You”), Best Rap Performance (“Be Careful”), and Best Rap Album (Invasion Of Privacy).

The 2019 Grammy Awards will be broadcasted live Feb. 10 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
