UPDATED 11/4, 9:47 a.m. ET: Jay-Z is no longer on Instagram.

Indeed, after gaining more than 2 million followers after his account’s grand opening, the brief presence of the Roc Nation founder on the Facebook-owned social media platform has come to a grand closing. He was notably the only person ever followed by Beyoncé.

Prior to the swift disappearance, Mark Zuckerberg welcomed Jay to the app with a wordless comment.

Jay-Z is now on Instagram.

The recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee has already amassed nearly 900,000 followers, a number that’s sure to grow in the coming days and weeks. The only person that the rapper and mogul is following on the account is his wife, Beyoncé. Jay is also the only person that Beyoncé is following on IG.

Jay-Z’s first post to his new account sees him plugging Netflix’s The Harder They Fall film. The movie, which Jay is a co-producer on, was directed by Jeymes Samuel. It stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, Deon Cole, and others. Hov also uploaded an IG Story featuring a premiere countdown clock for the film. The movie is set to be available on the streamer in just a few hours.

If you were wondering, it doesn’t look like it’s the first time that Jay-Z has joined IG. Back in 2015, the New York Daily news reported that the Brooklyn rapper joined the social media platform, posted a Michael Jackson tribute, and then deleted his unverified account a few hours later.

Although he hasn’t been on Instagram, Jay has had a Twitter account since 2008. Only time will tell if Jay will be active on IG or just occasionally post updates here and there as he does on his Twitter page.

In my excitement , I failed to prize, and acknowledge JAZ-O, he was the hometown hero that made the dream tangible . Thank you good man… ok let me lose this password for another year or so . Thank you all again , incredibly humbled by your love .
