The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards are here! 

Jack HarlowKendrick Lamar, and Lil Nas X lead the pack with seven nominations, which were announced in late July. Baby Keem and Kacey Musgraves were among the noteworthy artists who scored their first nod this year.

Meanwhile, Lizzo, Blackpink, and Anitta are just a few of the names who will be taking the stage tonight. Nicki Minaj, who recently earned her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Super Freaky Girl,” will receive the Video Vanguard Award and deliver a performance encompassing her entire career. Ahead of this year’s VMAs, fans could cast their votes in some of the biggest categories of the night, such as “Video of the Year” and “Artist of the Year,” as well as a few others, including “Best Longform Video,” and “Best Metaverse Performance.”
