Young Thug did a FaceTime interview for Big Boy's Neighborhood and talked about his quarantine routine, what he's been recording while at home, and how he thinks isolation might affect him if it continues into June. With several music festivals being pushed back from the beginning to the end of the summer, and others like Rolling Loud Miami being effectively canceled due to the spread of COVID-19, it has affected many artists including Thug.

Thugger explained that the money he won't be able to make touring, he will end up spending during quarantine to keep his family and loved ones comfortable. "Like I got my mom and daddy, these old folks, goddamn. I'm like 'Y'all stay in the house,' they like yeah, they get tired of the house they in every week, they want a penthouse, go to the hotel." Thug explained. "However much money I lose on the show, that's probably the same amount of money I lose spending my money."

The music industry as a whole has felt the impact of no live tours as well, with some small venues on the verge of collapse due to the lack of business.

Young Thug also talked about Lil Uzi Vert in the interview, jokingly saying he wouldn't invite Uzi into his home because "he'll break shit in your house."

This quarantine isn't stopping Thug from recording music, as he teased that he might have a song with Gunna on the way. "I've been recording, I got a studio at home, I got a studio at Duke house, I got a studio at Cash house."
