The livestreamed curation was put together in support of the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, powered by the UN Foundation. WMG has also launched exclusive PlayOn Fest merch, proceeds from which will go to the fund. Virtual festival attendees will also have multiple opportunities throughout the store to click-to-donate.

While the live music industry as we know it may remain at a standstill for quite some time, it's been encouraging for fans to see artists leading the charge with fundraiser-spotlighting quarantine shows and similar efforts.
Earlier this week, artists including T.I. and Killer Mike expressed concern over Georgia Governor Brian Kemp's call for certain nonessential businesses to reopen. As a sign of exactly how premature such a move is, Kemp's push even has the disapproval of Trump.
