After teasing a new album on the way, Kehlani has dropped the self-directed video for "Everybody Business."
Taken from her currently untitled next project, the track follows the release of "Toxic." Like the video for that one, Kehlani went for a DIY approach for "Everybody Business." Filmed in and around her home, the clip opens with a reference to her love life making the news. Back in February, she announced her split from YG with her song "Valentine's Day (Shameful)."
"Hi i'm dropping music i care about from an album i rlly care about tomorrow," she wrote on Instagram ahead of releasing the track. She stressed that the coronavirus pandemic was not going to get in the way with releasing material. "if i don’t get music out in the time i felt it lived it breathed it and made it, it may not ever come out because by the time that would be suggested to be the 'right' time to drop it..i’d probably be a whole new person with new feelings and new things to write about.
