Justin Timberlake has unleashed the Anderson .Paak-featuring song “Don’t Slack” from the Trolls World Tour soundtrack.

Timberlake spoke to Zane Lowe about the new track, saying that working with .Paak “was great.” Together, they “ended up with, like, three or four ideas in, like, three hours.”

Timberlake also touched on the likelihood of a collaborative project with .Paak: “I hope he doesn't mind that I'm gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project,” JT told Lowe. “We talked about it, but yeah, he's a busy man, too. I told him as well, too, I was like, ‘You need to enjoy your moment, bro.’ … He played me new stuff the other day." Timberlake assessed Anderson as "so gifted. He's so good.”

The singer later discussed working with SZA on their Trolls song, “The Other Side” and the possibility of a solo album: “I’m just really enjoying this moment, like, getting to work with SZA and Anderson, and it's like a crazy thing to me,” Timberlake said. “I'm just in a zone where I'm really enjoying the process again, and I don't have an agenda to make an album, but if it comes together, then it comes together, and in the meantime, I just want to stack records with people that I love, and that I'm inspired by, and that happens to be a ton of people.”

.Paak will also voice the character Prince D in the film, and Timberlake will voice Branch. Both artists took to Instagram to share images of what their respective characters will look like.

Produced by Timberlake and Ludwig Göransson (Childish Gambino, The Mandalorian, Black Panther), the Trolls World Tour soundtrack features Mary J. Blige, George Clinton, Kelly Clarkson, Kenan Thompson, and more. It's available March 13 via RCA Records, and the film arrives April 17.
